Karl sent me these pictures this afternoon, and as his adoring wife I think they're pretty neat, so here they are on our blog : ). These helicopters are an amazing tool in fire suppression. This one transports crew members to and from different areas when the terrain is too steep to hike, but some helicopters can carry water or fire redardant to dump on those nasty flames : ). Thank you helicopters for saving the forests!

This is Kim's sister, Becky. Just noticing the fire/helicopter related things on your blog, so I thought I would give a shout out to a fellow helitacker wife! So which helicopter is Karl working on? Just curious.
